Wherever you open the search panel, it covers your plans, so you never have to remember which folder a plan is in. Matching is on the name only, and any part of it will do: board finds "Sprint board" and "Onboarding".
Plans
The Plans group matches your plans by name, from the 100 you changed most recently (a plan you never named is listed as "Untitled plan"). Pick one and it opens, the quickest way back into a plan without going through the Explorer.
Folders and shared items
Folders, team libraries and the items shared with you are the Explorer's. To find one, use the search field at the top of the Explorer page, which looks through every item's title and folder, across every liveworkspace app.
Limits
Each group lists up to 8 matches. If what you want is not among them, type a little more of its name. With an empty box the panel lists your plans (and, in a plan, its tabs), so you can open it and arrow straight down to one.
Search only looks at names: it does not look inside other plans, so to find a card, open that plan and use Find.
